To be honest with you, calling this lip oil a Dior dupe is doing it a disservice because I might actually like it more than I like the Dior Lip Oil. I know! I know! Madness, because the Dior Lip Oil was all over TikTok and sold out forever and blah blah blah it costs SO MUCH and mine went manky all over the inside of my handbag so it’s on my shitlist. Which is all to say that if you are in need of a little treat today (I am because I worked all weekend and also today has a ‘Y’ in it), you should consider the ELF Cosmetics Glow Reviver Tinted Lip Oil.
These little beauties are so inexpensive compared to their fancier counterparts and I’m in love with them. For what it’s worth, the tint in the tinted lip oil is very sheer so I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the shades but I love Red Delicious for adding a touch of colour to wake up the complexion whereas if you’re looking for a very neutral nude, Honey Talks is your winner. The lighter shades are super transparent and there’s always Crystal Clear if you really don’t want any pigment at all. Every one of them feels light on the lip, non-sticky and brings a gorgeous, glossy light to your face that is much needed as we roll on into the winter months.
If you’re a fan of the Dior Lip Glow colour changing balm (you know I am), you could also try the Boss Up Color Changing Lip Oil - also a TikTok phenomenon, also excellent and also only $12 US/£11 UK. A word of advice, the colour change is INTENSE and the pigment STAINS which makes this perfect for me as I love a neon pink pout but if you’re looking for something more subtle, go with the ELF or even better, any of Boss Up’s non-colour changing options. We love to support a small business, people.
